In August 2001 Mediolanum Group acquired Western International Life Insurance Company Ltd which then changed its name to Mediolanum International Life.
It concentrates mainly on developing products under Irish law, especially life policies, which are then distributed on the European market through branches in Italy, Spain and Germany.
With IFSC certification and ISFRA approval Mediolanum International Life offers, for example, "Unit linked products" and "Index linked products".

Established in Ireland in 1997, Mediolanum International Funds is one of the Mediolanum Group's "factories" that deals with the "production and packaging" of the mutual funds distributed in various European countries. With IFSC certification, it specialises in the production of three types of funds: Challenge Funds, Top Manager Funds, Portfolio Funds.
MIFL also offers different sections and several classes and share values calculated daily.

Established in Ireland in 1999, Mediolanum Asset Management Limited became an SGR in November 2000 (IAA Approval).
MAML manages funds under Irish law marketed by Mediolanum Group. It also undertakes work related to financial consultancy in the group's companies, to the treasury for the Irish companies, to the development of insurance products and to the investment management of a variety of products.
