Mediolanum S.p.A. announces that today the Group has accepted the proposal to buy shares of Mediobanca S.p.A. for a total of 12,286,472 shares at a nominal value of 50 eurocents each – equivalent to 1.5% of the share capital of Mediobanca S.p.A. - at the price of 15.85 euro per share for a total of 194,740,581.20 euro.
The transaction – carried out by Mediolanum S.p.A. for a total of 6,143,236 shares (0.75%) and by the subsidiary Mediolanum Vita S.p.A. for a total of 6,143,236 shares (0.75%) - is subject to approval by the members of the Mediobanca shareholders’ agreement at their next Meeting.
