Banca Mediolanum and PayPal launch two new services
“Create a PayPal account” and “Instant Paypal reload”:
the first ones in the Italian banking sector
With a view to strengthening the partnership that began last July with the launch of the
“Send Money” service, now available not only as a mobile application but on the bank’s web site as well, Banca Mediolanum and PayPal introduce two new services that will allow customers to create a PayPal account, reload it instantaneously from their bank account, avoiding the wait times of a traditional wire transfer, and send money easily and quickly.
The
“Create a PayPal account” service allows customers of the Bank to create their own PayPal account directly from Home Banking and start using it right away for safe online shopping. Moreover, if the customer already has a PayPal account, it can be linked to their Mediolanum account using the same function.
The
“Instant PayPal reload” service permits Banca Mediolanum customers to transfer money from their bank account to their PayPal account in just seconds, directly from the Home Banking or Mobile application.Thanks to this collaboration, Banca Mediolanum makes use of these new functions by customers extremely
simple, with just a few clicks to create a PayPal account, reload it or send money directly from their own home banking page or mobile app, from the comfort of home or from their smartphone;
instantaneous, as all of the functions are activated in mere seconds; and
easy, because no further passwords or personal identification codes are required, only those used by customers for ordinary transactions.
