Mediolanum S.p.A. informs that today the Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Roberto Ruozi has resigned from the office.
The resignation has been motivated by the Chairman with the necessity to fulfil the discipline set forth by art. 36 of Law Decree of December 6, 2011, converted into Law n. 214 of December 22, 2011, that prohibits to “holders of offices in executive, supervisory and control bodies and general management positions in companies, or groups of companies, transacting business in the credit, insurance and financial markets to accept or carry out similar offices or positions in competing companies or groups of companies”.
The Company, acknowledging the decision taken by Prof. Roberto Ruozi, on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors, expresses its unanimous and warm gratitude for the precious contribution and commitment.
