Press Release - Banca Mediolanum

Banca Mediolanum: three significant commercial agreements with BlackRock, JPMorgan Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management

In its ongoing quest for innovation and high standards in its product offer, Banca Mediolanum has entered into collaborative agreements with three of the top fund managers worldwide:<0} {0><}0{>BlackRock, JPMorgan Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

The three great management companies together administer assets of almost $3bn, are represented in all the countries in which they invest, and employ more than 3500 fund managers and analysts.
The added value of this offer comes from the synergy between their quality management research and the ability of Mediolanum to choose managers, coordinate their work and provide top quality consultancy services to clients.

The Global Selection Funds and the Global Stock Fund of Funds are the first products issued by this agreement and are just the start of an investment strategy that will see the creation of other funds that, under the supervision of Mediolanum International Funds, will be proposed to clients in the future.

The Banca Mediolanum Family Bankers are now making available the following three fund of funds, all “global stock” because they cover all markets with regard to regional, sector, management style or capitalisation limits:

Mediolanum BlackRock Global Selection allows investment in a range of BlackRock funds managed by qualified professionals.
One of the features of BlackRock management is its “core-satellite” approach, where the key component, the “core”, of the portfolio is invested in the principal share markets of developed countries (such as USA, Europe and Japan). The complementary component, the “satellite”, aims at greater dynamism and is focused on sector diversification, choice of emerging markets and use of flexibly-managed products

Mediolanum JPMorgan Global Selection  invests largely in a selection of JPMorgan Asset Management funds. The investment is dynamic because each fund which comprises it is actively managed and because the selection of funds is made using a flexible approach aimed at making the most of all the best opportunities, irrespective of where they are identified. Each individual fund, and thus the whole fund of funds, invests in successful corporations with strong growth that is sustainable in the longer term.

Mediolanum Morgan Stanley Global Selection invests in the best Morgan Stanley funds, diversified by geographic area and management style. The defining of all these investment funds is achieved through quantitative analysis by sector professionals, and though specific short-term tactical choices by the management team. The active and dynamic management also makes the most of alternative investment opportunities.
